<h1>SUNSET HIKE. 🌅</h1><p><em>NymphenRuns x Longevity Munich</em></p><blockquote><p>two communities. one mountain. round two.<br>last time we hiked Schliersee to Tegernsee.<br>this time we chase the sunset from the Riederstein, high above the lake.</p></blockquote><h2><strong>the route:</strong></h2><ul><li>Route here: <a href="https://www.komoot.com/tour/42930539" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">https://www.komoot.com/tour/42930539</a></li></ul><p>Riederstein loop from Tegernsee station<br>8.9 km. ~3 hours walking. 420 m up, 420 m down.<br>moderate. steep steps through the forest at the end, so good shoes please.<br>top stop: the little Riederstein chapel, views over Tegernsee AND Schliersee 🌲</p><h1><strong>the plan:</strong></h1><ul><li>14:10 meet at München Hbf, at the start of platform 34<br>14:29 RB57 to Schaftlach</li><li>15:16 rail replacement bus from Schaftlach to Tegernsee (construction that weekend, it's on the normal ticket)</li><li>15:50 arrive Tegernsee, we start walking straight from the station</li><li>17:50 up at the Riederstein chapel</li><li>18:34 SUNSET 🌅</li><li>~18:50 we head down together with headlamps</li><li>~20:00 back at the lake</li><li>then: bus 20:10 home (Munich Hbf 21:32) or stay for dinner at the Bräustüberl Tegernsee 🍺 and take the 20:38 or 21:38 bus</li></ul><h1><strong>bring:</strong></h1><ul><li>a headlamp.
