About this event

We’re excited to announce Berlin Experimentation Meetup #15, taking place on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

After our summer break, the meetup is coming back to one of its origins: Zalando HQ in Berlin.

We’re looking forward to bringing Berlin’s experimentation community together again for an evening of talks, discussions, and conversations around experimentation and evidence-based product development.

Running Order

[18:30] Doors open Drinks, snacks and time to meet people.

[19:00] Welcome Marcel Toben and Patrick Gunia, organisers.

[19:10] Interleaving: fast, sensitive comparisons for search and recommendations - Hampus Poppius, Experimentation Advocate, GrowthBook
Interleaving blends results from competing search or recommendation algorithms into a single experience. This makes comparisons faster and more sensitive than classic A/B tests. Hampus explains how it works and when to use it.

[19:35] When AI runs the experiments: what changes for the experimentation team - Marcel Toben, Head of Engineering, Zalando
Experimentation has always been a team sport. As agents take on more of the work, from building variants to running and analysing tests, what changes for the people involved, and what stays the same?

[20:00] Panel: AI, experimentation and the future of work

Graham McNicoll, CEO, GrowthBook
Elisabeth Reitmayr, Director of Engineering, dltHub
Jonas Adrian Eriksen, Staff Product Manager, HelloFresh

How is AI changing the way product, data and engineering teams work, in experimentation and beyond?
