The One About AI x Cybersecurity

AI can help us manage risk. But how do we manage the risks that come with AI itself?

Join practitioners as they explore both sides of AI for risk and assurance, from applying AI to cybersecurity risk assessment and encoding expert judgement, to understanding and addressing risks within AI systems themselves.

More About The Sharings

Chee Keong, Evan & Kok Sung (MAS) will share on “RiskVibe: Using AI for Cyber Risk Assessment”

In 2026, the pace of new high-risk cybersecurity vulnerabilities is increasing to hundreds per week yet the average time between the vulnerability announcement and active exploitation is shortening with AI usage. Cyber security teams and system owners are kept awake at night, having to manually research, assess, categorise, and document each vulnerability using their domain expertise, before deciding on the appropriate mitigation.

The RiskVibe team from MAS will share how they developed RiskVibe with their cyber security team to support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in accepting residual risks. Hear how the product automatically categorises vulnerabilities and generates first drafts of risk mitigating controls, alongside lessons from designing and deploying AI to transform existing cybersecurity processes. (Technical Level: 200)

Preet Singh (Founder, Enginelitix.ai) will share on “Stories from the Field: Lessons in Encoding Cybersecurity Expertise into AI.”

What happens when the experts you're trying to learn from disagree with each other, or even contradict their own past decisions? Drawing on five years of work building AI systems for a Fortune 50 cybersecurity team, Preet will share why capturing expert judgement in AI is harder than it looks.

Hear how inconsistent data collection, conflicting expert decisions, misleading accuracy metrics, and model uncertainty shaped the system they built, and why a model reporting 98% accuracy can still be nearly useless in practice. Preet will unpack what they learnt from turning cybersecurity expertise into a system that teams would actually trust and use. (Technical Level: 200)
