Top things to do in Paris: week of 27 April 2026
Claire Laurent rounds up Paris this week — a Marais gallery night, a startup meetup at Station F, two solid bookings at La Cigale and a Sunday brocante in the 11th worth the early alarm.
Bonjour, Paris. The first proper week where you can sit on a terrace until 9pm without a coat. The city responds the way it always does — everything turns on at once. Here is the week, Monday through Sunday.
Monday — open mic in the 11th
Mondays in Paris are mostly for eating, but there is an English-language open mic in the 11th that's been running for years and the line-up this week is reportedly strong. Le Comedy Club also has a French-language night that's worth showing up to even if your French is approximate. Otherwise, dinner at one of the bistros on rue de Charonne — that is a plan in itself.
Tuesday — Station F talk
Station F is hosting one of its founder-investor evenings — a panel of four founders from the current cohort, then drinks in the central nef. Bring a real reason to be there or you'll be politely sidelined; bring one and the network is alot. RSVP through the Station F site, it fills up.
Wednesday — Marais gallery night
The Galeries du Marais evening is back this week. Half a dozen galleries open late on rue de Turenne and rue Vieille-du-Temple, free wine, mixed crowd, the new show at one of the smaller spaces near rue Charlot is supposed to be the play. Walk the loop, finish at a bar on rue de Saintonge.
Thursday — La Cigale
La Cigale has a properly good booking on Thursday — a touring act from London doing one of those mid-tier rooms that always feel intimate at La Cigale. Tickets are still available at time of writing. Doors at 7.30, support is worth the early arrival, the main is on by 9.30.
Friday — Pigalle to Bastille circuit
Friday is for the long night. Start with apéro near Saint-Georges, dinner in the 9th, then the choice is Le Carmen for a more relaxed crowd or one of the smaller rooms in Pigalle for something louder. Cab to Wanderlust if you want to keep going past 2 — they're doing one of the larger weekend bookings.
Saturday — a quieter day, then a properly long night
Saturday is the day to do nothing useful. Lunch in the Marais, walk, coffee somewhere with a terrace, repeat. In the evening, La Bellevilloise has its Saturday party which is consistently the most stylish booking in town, plus Concrete-alumni parties keep surfacing at various venues — they don't always announce until the day before. Genuinely the night you don't want to miss.
Sunday — brocante in the 11th
If you can survive a Saturday in Paris and still have an alarm on Sunday morning, the brocante on rue de Charonne is the move. Real antiques, cheap furniture, photographs and the occasional book stall worth lingering at. Eat at the boulangerie that has the queue. The whole afternoon will dissapear in the best way.
What I haven't fit in
There's alot more — the standing meetups, the smaller venues, the daily exhibitions at the Louvre and the Pompidou, the dance and theatre at smaller rooms. The Paris this-week page has the full list filterable by category. Useful in particular for filling Tuesday and Thursday afternoons when the headline programme is thinner.
A note on weather
Forecast is the standard late-April Paris — pleasant by 11am, hot by 3pm, jacket back on at 8. Plan accordingly, especially for terrace dinners.
That is the week. Bistros, galleries, La Cigale, brocante. Pas mal du tout.
